Dark Wizard armor sets (detailed)

The Dark Wizard is a caster, prioritising Energy (spell power) plus enough Strength to wear gear. DW armor is light with lower defense than melee classes, so Excellent options and ancient sets (đồ thần) are what really make it strong.

Dark Wizard normal sets

Normal sets give defense plus the stats required to wear them. Wearing the full set also grants a set bonus (table just below). Pick a set by your level and farm a map with the right monster level; extra power also comes from Excellent options and from upgrading to ancient.

Complete set bonus

Wearing all 5 pieces of the same set grants a set bonus (for every class, not just ancient):

  • Full set (any level): +10% defense rate vs monsters (better chance to block or dodge hits).
  • Full set with all 5 pieces at the same +level (from +10): extra defense that scales with the lowest +level in the set:
Set level (all 5 at +)Extra defense
+10+5%
+11+10%
+12+15%
+13+20%
+14+25%
+15+30%
Level all 5 pieces evenly to the same + (+11, +13, +15) rather than one high piece: the bonus counts the lowest +level in the set.

Ancient sets (đồ thần) for the Dark Wizard

An ancient item is the "ancient" version of a piece: same art as the normal one but with extra ancient stats and a set bonus. Wearing 2 pieces of the same ancient set starts the bonus, and more pieces unlock more lines. Each ancient piece also grants its own stat (usually +Vitality) and may carry an extra Ancient Option line.

How to obtain: ancient items drop from high-level monsters and events (Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle at higher levels) at a low rate. Collect pieces of the same ancient set to trigger the bonus.

Heras

HerasHerasHerasHerasHeras

Pieces: Skull Shield + Sphinx Helm, Armor, Pants, Gloves, Boots (6 pieces)

Set bonus (unlocks from 2 pieces up):

  • +15 Strength
  • +10% wizardry damage
  • +5% defense with a shield
  • +15 Energy
  • +50 attack rate vs monsters
  • +10% critical damage chance
  • +10% excellent damage chance
  • +50 HP
  • +50 Mana
Tip: An early ancient (Sphinx, level 38) loaded with crit / excellent / wizardry lines: well worth farming early to mid game.

Minet

Pieces: Sphinx Armor, Pants, Boots (3 pieces)

Set bonus (unlocks from 2 pieces up):

  • +30 Energy
  • +30 defense
  • +100 Mana
  • +15 skill damage
Tip: Only 3 pieces, easy to complete: Energy + Mana + skill damage, great for a pure caster.

Anubis

Pieces: Legendary Armor, Helm, Gloves + Ring of Fire

Set bonus (unlocks from 2 pieces up):

  • +10% double damage chance
  • +50 Mana
  • +10% wizardry damage
  • +15% critical damage chance
  • +15% excellent damage chance
  • +20 critical damage
  • +20 excellent damage
Tip: Damage-focused: crit + excellent + double damage. Prioritise for a burst-damage build.

Enis

EnisEnisEnisEnisEnis

Pieces: Legendary Armor, Helm, Pants, Boots (4 pieces)

Set bonus (unlocks from 2 pieces up):

  • +10 skill damage
  • +10% double damage chance
  • +30 Energy
  • +10% wizardry damage
  • +5% ignore enemy defense
Tip: Has ignore-enemy-defense: strong in PvP. A Legendary ancient worth aiming for mid game.

Which set to aim for

  • Early to mid game: aim for Heras or Minet (Sphinx-based, level 38) for early wizardry damage + crit/excellent.
  • Mid to late game: move to Anubis / Enis (Legendary-based, level 56) for much stronger wizardry damage, crit and excellent; Enis adds ignore-defense, great for PvP.
  • Always prefer pieces that also roll Excellent options (wizardry damage, damage reduction, extra Mana/HP) while collecting ancient pieces.

Priority tips are directional; the bonus values are taken straight from the muss6 config.
