Magic Gladiator

The Magic Gladiator is a warrior-mage hybrid that needs no evolution. It gets more stat points per level and is strong throughout, but cannot wear a Helm.

The Magic Gladiator is a warrior-mage hybrid using both sword and spell skills. Pick skills to match your build:

  • Twisting Slash: learned from a one-handed sword, spinning AoE, the main physical farming skill.
  • Fire Slash: sends out a wide arc of fire.
  • Power Slash: a ranged slash wave.
  • Mana Rays, Flame Strike, Gigantic Storm: spell attacks for an Energy build.

Buff: Defense self-buffs armor. Note: Strength builds use sword skills, Energy builds use spells, and you can mix both.

Stat build for Magic Gladiator

  • Strength: physical build (easy).
  • Energy: magic build, or a Str+Energy hybrid.
  • Vitality: add for PvP survivability.
Build follows Season 6 conventions. GMs may tune it.

Normal, Excellent and Ancient

  • Normal: base defense only.
  • Excellent: premium options (HP/MP recovery, % damage...). Drops from Blood Castle, bosses.
  • Ancient (đồ thần): ancient stats + set bonus.
"Ancient" (đồ thần) is an option grade: a set has Normal, Excellent and Ancient versions. Ancient adds ancient stats + a set bonus. Found at Kanturu, Land of Trials, or crafted at the Chaos Machine.

Suitable weapons

Sword, Spear (physical) or Staff (magic), depending on your build.

  • Wings of Heaven/Satan Wings of Heaven/Satan: level 1
  • Wings of Darkness Wings of Darkness: level 2

Playstyle & leveling

The Magic Gladiator gains more points per level, so it is strong throughout (but cannot wear a Helm). Strength is the easy build, farming with Twisting Slash/Fire Slash; Energy uses spells. Decent HP, farms well, suits offline leveling.

  • Early: firmly pick one path (Str or Energy) and commit to it.
  • Mid: a Str+Energy hybrid is possible for flexibility; farm Blood Castle for Excellent gear.
  • Late: the extra points let you add Vitality for easier PvP than most classes.

Farming route by level (monster levels from the muss6 config). Use offline leveling (/offlevel) to grind while logged out, and Reset at level 400 to replay stronger.

PvP & party role

Mobile with high damage in both directions; the spare points allow lots of Vitality, tankier than a pure Wizard. Harass at range with Fire Slash/Power Slash then close in with sword skills. Weakness: a two-handed build has no shield, so it takes more damage than a Dark Knight.

  • Party role: flexible damage, fast farming, self-sufficient.
  • PvP: swap between ranged and melee; keep Vitality to last.
